Sahih Bukhari
Hadith 1
إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى
"Actions are according to intentions, and everyone will get what was intended. Whoever migrates with an intention for Allah and His messenger, the migration will be for the sake of Allah and his Messenger."

Hadith 8
الإِسْلاَمُ أَنْ تَشْهَدَ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ
"Islam is to testify that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, to perform prayers, to pay zakat, to fast Ramadan, and to make pilgrimage to the House if you are able."

Hadith 8
بُنِيَ الإِسْلاَمُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ
"Islam is built upon five: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing prayer, paying zakat, making pilgrimage to the House, and fasting Ramadan."

أَوَّلُ مَا يُحَاسَبُ بِهِ الْعَبْدُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الصَّلاَةُ
"The first matter that the slave will be brought to account for on the Day of Judgment is prayer. If it is sound, then the rest of his deeds will be sound. And if it is bad, then the rest of his deeds will be bad."

الصَّلاَةُ نُورٌ، وَالصَّدَقَةُ بُرْهَانٌ، وَالصَّبْرُ ضِيَاءٌ
"Prayer is light, charity is proof, patience is illumination, and the Quran is a proof for or against you."

"Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his neighbor. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest."

كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ
"Every good deed is charity. Verily, it is a good deed to meet your brother with a smiling face, and to pour what is left from your bucket into the vessel of your brother."

مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ
"Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status."

تَبَسُّمُكَ فِي وَجْهِ أَخِيكَ صَدَقَةٌ
"Smiling in your brother's face is charity, commanding good and forbidding evil is charity, giving directions to a man in a land where he is lost is charity, removing obstacles from the road is charity."

"Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him."

"The example of the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not remember his Lord is like that of the living and the dead."

"The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion, and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever."

"By Allah, if Allah were to guide one man through you it would be better for you than the best type of camels."

"O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and you then asked forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you."

"Verily, in the body there is a piece of flesh which, if sound, the whole body is sound, and if corrupt, the whole body is corrupt. Verily, it is the heart."
